LUMIN GATE — HOW TO PLAY (For Players)

🎮 Objective

Solve each “Gate” (puzzle) by aligning, rotating, or connecting aurora pieces until the gate stabilizes and reveals its symbol.

Every solved Gate unlocks:

• a Lore fragment,

• a ranked score,

• and access to the next Gate.

🌀 BASIC CONTROLS

1. Click + Drag

• Move aurora shards, rune tiles, or geometry pieces.

​

2. Scroll / Two-Finger Trackpad

• Rotate pieces by ±15°.
  (Phone/tablet: rotate gesture.)

​

3. Tap a piece

• Shows metadata: “stability”, “alignment”, “connected threads”.

​

4. Long-press

• Activates “analysis mode” (glows blue).
  Shows which pieces belong together.

5. The moment all pieces align
The gate pulses, locks into place, and awards:

• XP

• Score

• Lore

🌟 PUZZLE MAPPING (Under the Hood)

Each puzzle (“Gate”) is a combination of:

Gate Type

1. Sigil Rotation Gate
   Pieces must be rotated until sigils match.

2. Aurora Thread Gate
   Connect light threads so all nodes are powered.

3. Pattern Cipher Gate
   Match runes to a coded sequence.

4. Hybrid Gate (mid-late levels)
   Two different mechanics fused:

rotate + connect

decipher + power

thread + sigil
