On My Lavender Rectangle

On my Lavender Rectangle:
the whole world softens.
Light folds itself like linen,
the corners of the day uncrease.
Messages drift like feathers through lilac air,
their urgency dissolves into pale threads of maybe.
Mountains hum in pixels,
oceans blink in slow waves of blue.
I press into the glow, and the distance breathes closer.
Here, sound is a shimmer, time a warm pulse under glass.
Even silence has color, it leans violet, and forgiving.
And for a moment, the smallness of me feels just right in the softening world.
