A Reflection on Renewal and Spiritual Listening
There are places in our daily lives where inspiration and comfort find us unexpectedly.
For me, it happens most often in the shower, a private haven where prayers rise with the steam,
and my mind softens into clarity.
There is a sanctuary found in falling water, a place where the day’s worries melt from my skin, and the world outside blurs into distant memory.
Here, prayer comes easy, softly spoken or silent, swirling with the warmth.
I surrender burdens to the flow,
letting each drop carry away what I no longer need.
The white noise hushes my mind.
Suddenly, answers surface.
New ideas twirl in the warmth,
and the gentle voice of Spirit finds its way to my heart.
Sometimes I step in just to wash, but always, I step out renewed; soul soothed, clarity rising,
ready to meet the day with fresh intention.
If you ever find yourself in need of peace or guidance, let the water become your sacred space.
Whisper your hopes, your worries, your gratitude.
Allow yourself to listen to the water, to your heart,
to whatever wisdom is waiting.
Reflection:
When do you feel most connected to your intuition
or spirit?
What rituals help you wash away worry
and welcome new inspiration?
May your next shower bring you a sense of renewal
and a few quiet answers of your own.
